The Sea Inside
Jan. 16th, 2007 12:34 amWatched The Sea inside. So far the best movie (or just the best) I watched/read on euthanasia. Unfortunately this is the only movie by Alejandro Amenabar that Neflix has - I'd like to see more.
Sasha at one point told me that I tend to study and think over some problem intensely and then after I formulated my opinion close the subject forever. Well, this movie probably will make me reconsider my position a bit. So far it is negative towards legalized euthanasia as it can potentially put a pressure on some person who doesn't want to die to elect euthanasia due to monetary factor, hardship to relatives, etc. But is it still a strong enough factor to deny the others the right to die, and should the society be involved here at all?
