I finally learned how to use layer mask in Photoshop. Combining the layers now is so much easier. Will be a good help for my new album with the photos from Yucatan and the US SW.

The Omnivore's Dilemma by Pollan I am reading is way too long for the content. And I noticed quite a few factorial errors in it. The C4 plants are not outcompeting C3 because they capture 4 carbon atoms in one "cycle"! But overall I like it as long as I skip over the watery pages, at least I start understanding what constitutes organic produce/farming. Mushrooming experience is described excellent. "If I show you the place I pick'em, I'll have to kill you." Very Russian attitude towards guarding your sacred mushrooming places. Another thing I discovered from this book is that in English dilemma does not mean "choice from two alternatives" anymore. Yak.

Have you finished the book? So, how organic farming concept correlates with genetically modified food? It is my perception that through cross-opyleniye (forgot the term) almost all crop/veggies/fruit harvest is gen-modified.

Not finished yet. Reading through. But your point on pollination is something I read in a few papers. Indeed, the genes from "experimental" corn varieties escape from the supposedly safe study fields and are soon found in the regular crops. Europeans are more responsible.
